I like tools. My favorites are the items we had in the house that I've repurposed for studio use. If you look closely, you can see a pie cutter that will never see flour again...
I'm warning you: If you like carefully ordered things, and if "untidy" gives you hives, don't look.

It's true that if I got rid of half of these, I'd gain a bit more space for work.
It's true that if I got rid of three quarters of these, I'd probably be able to find the tool I'm looking for in a second, and not a minute.
But I need to weight what I'd gain--a bit more space, a bunch of minutes--against what I'd lose.
And my tools make me happy. Others can have tidy workplaces if that's their thing. I have a vaguely organized mess of wonderfulness and I love it.
How about you? What do you enjoy in your world that approaches being "a lot," but is still worth having every bit of?
